Workers who are exposed to extreme heat or work in hot environments may be at risk of this occupational hazard. it can result in heatstroke, heat exhaustion, heat cramps, or heat rashes. The most common signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion include:
- Confusion.
- Dark-colored urine (a sign of dehydration)
- Dizziness.
- Fainting.
- Fatigue.
- Headache.
- Muscle or abdominal cramps.
- Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
- Heat emergencies are health crises caused by exposure to hot weather and sun.Heat emergencies have three stages: heat cramps, heat exhaustion, and heatstroke. All three stages of heat emergency are serious.
